Decolonial storytelling debunking necessity to reboot a Cypherpunk mythology captured by white american men and open to radical intersectional imagination.
Session will propose a radically new approach to Cypherpunk creation myth via intersectional lenses.
Drawing parallels between internet 30 years ago (when Cypherpunk manifesto has been published) and comparing with the existing end-to-end encryption, the state of cryptography, tools, privacy and internet culture.
Focusing on broad range of "new" generation of cypherpunks from Audrey Tang to Chelsea Manning (and sharing young personas) that can break out from chains of patriarchy, technological priviledges, and access to the capital. Going beyond with radical imagination - how cypherpunks of the future can operate within Anthroposcene world &/or post WW3.
Featuring stories (based on interviews) from Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan, Ukraine, Ecuador, Spain and beyond.
